Welcome in the amazing world of our event venues we’re hiring for! Let’s introduce you first the Event Lounge, located in Brussels: a premium venue where creativity has no limit! And of course, The EGG Brussels, a congress center for all conferences, meetings, conventions, … with a capacity of 5000m² next to Brussels-south train station.

For both venues, we are looking for a new member for our venue management-team, who will market and promote this venue as if it were their own.

You will be in charge of:

  • Management of day-to-day administration and organization
  • Financial and operational reporting towards the management
  • Relationship and contracts with suppliers and clients
  • Development of business opportunities to promote events at both venues
  • Development of the Marcom Strategy of both venues through Communication channels
  • Housekeeper of the venues
  • First contact of the clients

Skills

  • Administrative skills, well-organized

  • Responsible, client minded and solution oriented
  • Hospitality Skills and attention to detail
  • Stress resistant
  • Autonomous and good team player
  • Trilingual (NL/FR/EN)

  • Marketing & Communication Knowledge
  • Flexible (no 9 to 5 mentality!) (Willing to work on weekend and evenings)

you will be in charge of:

1) Assist in communication & marketing:

  • Social Media: Facebook, Linkedin, Intagram, Twitter,…
  • Writing articles for newsletters
  • Following / updates of the websites
  • Creating of newsletter
  • Represent our venues in different marketing groups (BSV,…)

2) Assist in day to day tasks:

  • Update planning & agenda
  • Organize logistics for events
  • Administration & organization
  • Read and handle emails
  • Housekeeper of the venues
  • Front of house – first contact with the clients

3) Reporting towards the management

Skills

  • Higher Degree in marketing & communication
  • Marketing & Communication Knowledge
  • Good level of FR, NL and EN. Additional languages are a plus
  • Good administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
  • Creativity and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent organizational skills

FUNCTION
Title of the function: Local Project Assistant
Project: Organization of events & exhibitions for the most innovative retailer
Type of contract: Full time
Mission description:
You’ll assist the Local Project Manager in the local coordination, sales and account management of the project, especially in the following tasks:

  • Keeping track of and reporting on project progress (presentations, documentations, contact lists…)
  • Researching information as required
  • Contributing to the planning and development of projects
  • Ensuring the efficient and performant execution in the field through onsite permanence and support during event & operations
  • Coordinating the development and coherence of event visual identity and communication
  • Assisting stakeholders regarding project needs and goals (booking of stand and material, follow-up of the registrations and invoicing, support and reporting of the project)

Functional report to d-side Key Account & Project Lead

PROFILE
Personality & background:

  • Min Bachelor
  • Experiences in event production
  • Enthusiast, dynamic, proactive and flexible (no 9 to 5 mentality).
  • Responsible, client minded and solution oriented.
  • Autonomous but good team player, rigorous and stress resistant
  • Bilingual FR/NL + EN is a must
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft (PPT, Excel, Word…)
  • Knowledge of Illustrator, indesign, photoshop, autocad is a plus
