Princess Mathilde presents the InBev-Baillet Latour Health Prize
Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde presented the “InBev-Baillet Latour Health Prize ” to Professor Hidde L. Ploegh of the Whitehead Institute, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.
The “InBev-Baillet Latour Health Prize”, which is worth 150,000 €, is awarded each year to an eminent figure in recognition of work carried out in the field of medical scientific research and/or practical applications of that research.
It is the most important scientific award presented in Belgium. The theme of this year’s prize was “Immunology and/or Infectious Diseases”.
Since 2001 InBev has been working together with d-side on the organisation of this ceremony that is held at the Palais des Académies in Brussels.
